Good storage. The only thing I'd say would be wonderful to add is heated storage to make sure temperature senstive things can be stored without worry of damage. They're fairly cheap, good choice for if you just need to get your stuff stored somewhere. I got plenty of room for my needs.

Our American Way storage facility is conveniently located. The lot is well maintained. We have never had water in our locker. They are great to send payment reminders via email and they send those reminders early enough that you have plenty of time to send your payment through the mail, if that is your preferred payment method. They are courteous and quick to help should you have questions or an issue.

Easy and fast rental process.

The ease of renting a unit was simply amazing! In todays world of technology to be able to rent a unit in less than 15 minutes was one of the reasons for me to rent. Also I had to call CS(Jamie) to get some clarification on the rent and they are extremely friendly and professional! I also wanted to note that there is ample room for trucks with trailers with no tight turns.

Rental unit was super-easy to sign-up for and rent on their website. Almost instant move-in after the contract is signed (also done online). Unit was clean. Door functions properly and latch works. I supplied my own lock. Gravel driveways around buildings well maintained. Company keeps me updated by email and since I don't use auto-pay, the monthly emailed invoice comes in handy. When I rented, a promotion was in place to save half on the second month's rent. It was applied automatically to the balance due that month. Great company to deal with. I rented a storage shed here in paris,il. The first shed i rented the door would not raise so i called them explaned the issuse and asked if i could switch to a different storage unit. The lady on the other end of the phone had no problem what so ever doing that. So we went unit 1 to unit 8 and the door works perfectly and they are nice units. My experience all in all is excellent. Why I choose this storage place is for two reasons. One the location is easy and centrally located in Decatur and two, it was the cheapest I could find in the area.

I had questions about the units, and they were willing and knowledgeable to answer. Even encouraged me to look into a couple of the available units to make sure I got the size I was looking for. I went down and did this, then immediately rented a unit while I standing there. It couldn't have been easier.

The space is close to home and also very big for a very fair price. I was renting a storage place in Vincennes that was a 1/4 of the space I have now for $50 where as you get a 10x20 unit for only $80! The user friendly online registration and payments makes things easy and with auto pay plus email notifications, you never have to worry about missing a payment!

The online rental process was very easy to do. I did have to call in and talked to a very informative lady who was very helpful. The unit we currently rent is a 10x20 and very clean. It's easy to get to and the parking lot is easy to get around. I do think the price is a little high compared to other places I've checked but there were no availabilities in those other places. Overall, the unit is 5 stars, customer service is 5 stars and pricing is 4 stars.

After the new landlord doubled our rent then evicted us because we couldn't pay the almost $1000 monthly rent, we had to find a place to store our possessions. American Way Storage was a reasonably priced storage unit, dry, very clean and well kept and well lit at night. I would definitely recommend these units to anyone needing a place to store their possessions.

Update 8/5/23 - They reached out to me and cleared the air. They swear they tried contacting me via calling me, but recieved no response. I had service issues during the period they said they tried to call, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt regarding the lack of contact.I spoke with Braden, and he was very helpful.I’m currently working with Braden and the police to get the issue resolved.Updating the stars to 4, I would do 5 but they only have 1 camera on the property to prevent this type of issue.Have only been renting for ~9 months from their Sidney IL location.So far, I’ve had 3 locks be cut off and had multiple tools stolen from unit.The company only ever notified me the 1st time this happened.I just went up to get some stuff today and my lock was gone, replaced by one of theirs.My bill is current and has been the entire time.They have no emergency contact info so I’m just SOL on the weekend, which is the only time I go there.Leaving this one star review unless the company reaches out to me today, 8/5/23, and gives me access to my unit and explain why my lock is gone with no communication on their part.

I called to discuss rental options when the recording mentioned the process can be 100% completed online, so I hung up. A friendly individual called me back to see if they could help me. The process online was extremely easy, and the staff are friendly.

Easy app usage

Only complaint is they never take the lock off once it's paid and takes days of calling and waiting and can't access our storage and should be credited for those days we can't if it's paid up. Other than that it's all right.

I've never rented a storage unit before. I did everything online, but had a question, and a staff member called me immediately and answered my questions. Efficient, very clean, and just what I needed.Update: Office staff went above and beyond when maintenance crew notice my storage door was missing it's lock! He immediately put a temp lock on it and had the office call me. All was well, and I put a new lock on it. I'm thankful for their quick action!

Units are well lit... And there is a security camera at the entrance! Piece of mind knowing when I leave the premises everything is secure until I return!! Storage units are very generous in size, and they were very concealed enclosures... so there is no problems with privacy.

This is the first time using this storage facility. I called and the person that answered was helpful with answering my questions about the facility and the cost is reasonable. The person help me with choosing the right size unit I needed to use all while on the phone. I like that it has a code to enter and security cameras and it well maintained.

Brandy was very helpful getting the right unit set up for us.She was professional and kind, she explained everything in detail for my elderly mother. She repeatedly asked us to call her back with any questions or concerns.

I was lucky to find a storage unit in Harrisburg, Illinois. It is the right amount of space and the customer service is great. I don't have to worry about that anymore. The original space I had wasn't with this company, but I never felt safe for my belongings. It was inside but it didn't have a ceiling in each unit. So now knowing I dont have to worry it gives me the peace of mind.I would tell any of my friends to use American Way Storage.
